A Trail of Burke & Hare is an outdoor escape game through Edinburgh's Old Town. Collect your satchel from our central Edinburgh base, follow the map to real locations from the story and solve tactile escape room puzzles on the way, finding secrets hidden in plain sight.
Allow about 2 hours for the 4 to 5 km route. For 2 to 30 players, suggested age 8+, difficulty 2/5. You'll need a phone with internet access.
During the month of August Edinburgh is home to the Fringe Festival which will mean the city is likely to be much busier than usual. We'll give you extra time to complete your City Trail during this period, but please be aware that some sites could be crowded.
