Are you close to the University?
We're located at 25 Nicolson Square, less than 300 metres from McEwan Hall — roughly a five-minute walk. We're also within easy reach of Pleasance, Pollock Halls, and the central university campus, making us one of the most conveniently located activities for graduation day in Edinburgh.
Are your experiences suitable for mixed-age groups?
Absolutely. Our escape rooms are designed to work across generations; graduates, parents, grandparents and younger siblings can all get involved. No prior experience is needed, and our live-actor hosts keep everyone engaged regardless of age or background. Please note that some experiences have recommended minimum age limits (8 or 12 years).
How long do the experiences last, and when should we book?
Our escape rooms run for approximately one hour, with a little time either side for briefing and debrief. We'd recommend booking in advance as graduation weekends in Edinburgh are busy, and our sessions do fill up quickly during peak periods.
How many people can come along?
Our escape rooms accommodate groups of 2–8 (The Anatomist) or 2–6 (The Deacon's Cabinet). For larger graduation parties, our outdoor Burke & Hare City Trail welcomes up to 30 people, or multiple rooms can be booked simultaneously for bigger groups.
